Overview:
A case may be dismissed for a variety of reasons and this motion asks the bankruptcy judge who issued the dismissal order to reconsider the basis on which the order was granted and to issue another order reinstating the case.  These motions must be filed within 14 days of the entry of the order dismissing the case.  If filed after 14 days the debtor must re-file a new bankruptcy case.

This filing should be accompanied by the Motion and a Proposed Order.  When required by Local Bankruptcy Rule 9013-3, a Certificate of Service must also be filed.

Any documents filed before the case has been reinstated, will not be processed until the Order has been entered.

For order format, please see Proposed Orders.
