The Judicial Conference has approved changes to the federal court miscellaneous fee schedules effective December 1, 2013.

On December 1, 2013, a NEW fee for filing the following motion will go into effect:

• A motion to sell property of the estate free and clear of liens under 11 U.S.C. § 363(f) is $176.  This fee must be paid at the time the motion is filed.

On December 1, 2013, the following fee changes will go into effect:

• Retrieval of one box of records from a Federal Records Center, National Archives, or other storage location will increase from $53 to $64.  For retrievals involving multiple boxes, $39 for each additional box.

The Fee Schedule for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania will be revised accordingly on 12/01/2013.  It will be posted on the court’s website at:  http://www.pamb.uscourts.gov/sites/default/files/Misc/Fee%20Schedule.pdf
