Fee increases will take effect on November 21, 2012 and May 1, 2013.  See full announcement for details.

On November 21, 2012, the following fee changes will go into effect:

    Chapter 11 filing fee will increase from $1,046 to $1,213
    Chapter 9 filing fee will increase from $1,046 to $1,213
    Chapter 15 filing fee will increase from $1,046 to $1,213
    Motion to reopen Chapter 11 bankruptcy case will increase from $1,000 to $1,167
    Motion to divide a joint Chapter 11 case will increase from $1,046 to $1,213
    Conversion fee for converting a Ch. 7 to a Ch. 11 will increase from $755 to $922
    Conversion fee for converting a Ch. 13 to a Ch. 11 will increase from $765 to $932

On May 1, 2013, a new claims transfer fee will go into effect for bankruptcy courts.  The fee for filing a transfer of a claim in a bankruptcy case will be $25 per claim transferred.  

The Fee Schedule for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania will be revised accordingly.  It is available on the Court’s website at:  http://www.pamb.uscourts.gov/sites/default/files/Misc/Fee%20Schedule.pdf
