Changes to CM/ECF and the Court's Website (10/02/2015)
Friday, October 2, 2015
On 10/02/15 the Court made changes to CM/ECF and its website.
Changes Friday, October 2, 2015:
- CM/ECF: The Court's Electronic Case Filing System (CM/ECF) now allows e-filers to enter $0.00 when opening a voluntary Bankruptcy case where the filing fee will be paid in installments.
-
Web site - For Attorneys tab: A guide to editing metadata has been posted to our website under "For Attorneys." Metadata or certain document property information that is "hidden" within most documents created in word processing applications and in PDF documents. Unless certain steps are taken to remove this information, it becomes imbedded in the document and is viewable by anyone saving a local copy. The document's "author," a file path, date and time the document was created are examples of metadata. The guide to metadata is located here.
E-filers are encouraged to visit the court’s website (www.pamb.uscourts.gov) to stay informed of the changes. Should you have any questions regarding any of the procedures or functionality in CM/ECF you can contact us by e-mail at pambecf_helpdesk [at] pamb.uscourts.gov (subject: New%20Procedures%20or%20New%20Functionality%20in%20CM%2FECF) or by telephone at 717-901-2812 (Harrisburg) or 570-831-2530 (Wilkes-Barre).
