Overview:
A motion for contempt is filed when a party is deemed to have failed to abide by an order or regulation of the court. FRBP 9020 governs contempt proceedings and references FRBP 9014 which governs contempt proceedings filed by the United States Trustee or party in interest. A motion for contempt may be filed in conjunction with a motion for sanctions.

This filing should be accompanied by the Motion and Proposed Order.  When required by Local Bankruptcy Rule 9013-3, a Certificate of Service must also be filed.
