Overview:
The court may accept for filing and authorize the commencement of a voluntary chapter 7 petition filed by an individual without the filing fee if: 1) the petition is accompanied by an affidavit that they are unable to pay such cost (in forma pauperis), or 2) by an application requesting a waiver of the filing fee.
This filing should be accompanied by the Application and Proposed Order. When required by Local Bankruptcy Rule 9013-3, a Certificate of Service must also be filed.
