PAYMENT OF FEES

Overview:

The Bankruptcy Clerk is required to collect fees for filing bankruptcy cases, the filing of certain proceedings within or related to bankruptcy cases, and in delivering services either by the clerk’s office or under the clerk’s supervision.  E-filers are prompted to electronically pay these fees after filing an event in CM/ECF that requires a fee.  If an incorrect event is used or the fee is not appearing on an e-filer’s Internet Payments Due report, the events in this document are able to be used to pay the outstanding fee.

Prior to using any of these docket events, log into CM/ECF with the login that was used to file the proceeding that requires a fee and access Utilities > Internet Payments Due to see if the fee is displayed.  If the fee is not listed, then the appropriate event listed below should be used.
